Fairy Knowe Adventures is striving to be recognised as a birder-friendly establishment. Its darterunique location adjacent the Wilderness section of The Garden Route National Park ensures that it is in within easy hiking distance of nature trails, birdhides and a variety of environments such as beach and rocky shore, estuarine lakes and coastal forest. The centre is located within a  few hectares of indigenous forest where centuries old Yellowwood trees are to be found.
